Bunnies and links
Spander I have not forsaken thee-
So I've been thinking a lot on one of my other fandoms, BtVS, Spike/Xander to be more precise. I really want to finish off my season 4 AU, If I Knew Then... since it really was fun for me to do. Plus, I really need to bring them over here and tag them, instead of having them in my memories.
But thinking about Spander has brought on the some plot bunnies that I wouldn't mind reading about. So let them go to a good home, because I haven't finished IIKT, and I started that on Nov 15th 2004! So, you know I can't be trusted. Anyway... plot bunnies free to a good home:
Bunny One:
Instead of Spike at the end of season 7 using the amulet, it's Xander. So he's the one brought back in Season five of Angel as a ghost. Guess who the Scoobies send (mostly to get rid of him, and because he wants to annoy Angel) to check up on Xan's resurrection's? Why Spike of course. Shenanigans ensue.
Bunny Two:
I just have this idea of Xander getting transported to a world where Angel never got the soul and has been Angelus all along. The Scourge have come back together at the Hellmouth. They're all a little different, especially Spike since he's been mostly on his own since Dru has stayed with her Daddy. I just think it would be interesting to explore how the vamps would be different and Xander would be a good narrator to view that.

Oh, and I'm totally digging the LJ tracking feature where you get email notifications for tag updates. That is so awesome. For people that are posting parts of fic and have a separate tag for them, it's the best way for me to keep up with their posts. I have a bad tendency to miss things on my flist sometimes. Plus, it even works if you don't have the person friended. Hell, you don't even have to do the tag, it'll email you to let you know that someone has responded to the entry, so not only do you get notifications when someone replies to your comment, but also if anyone else comments. Very cool. Just choose TRACK (or sometimes it's a pushpin icon) on a post, it'll be with the add to memories/edit section is, and it should give you a menu choice of watching the comments or below that watching a certain tag (there's a drop down menu for all the author's tags). You can manage all of these in your Manage Message Settings config when you're logged in.

Oh and another link for your fine people...I posted a while back that Bert Monroy the photoshop guy was doing a video podcast with Photoshop tips. The recent episode about Layer Masks and Alpha Channels was great. If you're into blends or manips, he has some good info. It's a pretty basic explanation of the functions of both, but if your new to photoshop, it's a great resource.
