When I first moved here the city seemed to open up, stuffed with houses and beggars and mexicans, to a kind of bohemian freedom ( I can't think of a better term for it). Today the first chill of fall set in and I've been playing Ryan Adam's "Sweet Carolina" over and over again in a kind of desperate attempt to make it South, if not physically at ( Read more... )

Adams Morgan (18th and Columbia-right by the zoo). It's a pretty neat area. I like it well enough. Where is a good place for b-ham children to hang out?

I used to live right over there, 11th and Euclid, right by the 9:30 club.

What age kids? What part of town? And why do you ask?

Oh, and tons of theatre. Check out Studio Theatre, Roundhouse Theatre, Kennedy Center...
