oh dearest cosmis....heh, that sort of thing happened to me before. y'know, where the lens of my glasses came off. thanks for sharing that with me. man, i thought i was the only one that those things happened too.
and i, too, don't believe in such superstitions. for me, if i see it and believe it, then it's real (like what evy in the mummy said).
The lens use to come out in my glasses all the time, but that time I lost it. I later found out that it fell on the playground, and someone else found it before I did and threw it out. Ah, ces't la vie ... Things like that happen sometimes, and you're definitely not alone. :)
*nods* Mmm-hmm, I know what you mean. It's really interesting how superstition still plays a part in all our lives though, even unintentionally. Like how we say "bless you" when someone sneezes. :) Now it's just to be polite instead of ensuring their soul doesn't escape, though. :)
Your story about the broken glass made me smile. I've done my fair share of charmingly dorky blunders like that, too. My mother won't let me near anything glass anymore.
I believe that the number 13 and Friday the 13th can be good luck sometimes. There was really nothing wrong with last Friday, it was actually a good day. Last week was a terrible week for me, but it all kinda got repaired at the end. Also, get this: Disneyland is the 2nd most successful theme park in the country (right after the Magic Kingdom of Walt Disney World), and its address is 1313 Harbour Boulevard.
I'm glad to hear your Friday was a good day, and the awful things that happened during the rest of the week were resolved. :) I didn't know that was the address for Disneyland, though. That's fascinating. :) Do you miss going since you moved?
Sometimes, but not terribly. I've done everything at those two parks multiple times. If I went back with Greg, it'd just be doing the same things, with him. Not that I wouldn't want to. I still love Disneyland. But I'm thinking more about Walt Disney World now. I've never been there.
'Finding Nemo' is definately my new favorite Pixar movie. They are all pretty good. I love the little lamp-guy that they use as their logo...the one that bounces on the 'i' of Pixar.
...and that little short before the movie with the snowglobe and such, was kinda weird to think that they had that technology back in the 80's. What took them so long?
Yeah, a lot of love and care really seems to go into them. :) I love the little lamp-guy, too. He really has a lot of personality.
Yeah, the snowglobe short really surprised me, too. I had no idea they could do that back then, and it is a little odd that they took as long as they did after they were able to do something like that. :)

I've been to Disney World once, and I was too young to remember most of it. I'd really love to go back again. I hope you can go sometime. :)
