Happy Friday the 13th!
Wheee, it's even a full moon out!
Bad luck today: Broke a drinking glass into a bazillion pieces in my bathroom. Still need to clean it up. It was due to my own stupidity, though. I knocked it over once and caught it in time, but instead of moving it to where I wouldn't be knocking it over, I left it there and knocked it over again.
Good luck today: I was able to talk to the darling merjanet15! There's no such thing as a bad day if it involves that.
Of course, I don't believe in good or bad luck, I'm much too rational; knock on wood.
My best Friday the 13th was when I was in 4th grade. The lens in my glasses popped out, and my mom had to come to school and take me out to go to the optometrist. Doesn't sound good, does it? But it meant I got out of a huge spelling test. :D
I went to see Finding Nemo at the movies tonight. That was a really darling movie. :) It was kind of funny though, because they had just a couple more minutes of movie right after posting "The End", so everyone was already at the back of the theatre about to leave when it started up again, so everyone turned and was standing there to watch the extra punchline. So if you go see that movie, stay in your seat even after they show "The End" for another minute or so. :D
I really like Pixar films. In the extra features for the Monsters Inc. DVD, they show Pixar studios and it looks like such a fun, colorful place to work.
The moon really is pretty tonight. It's just a little bit cloudy, and it's causing this really gentle blue light effect on the nearby hills and in the valleys, along with a soft breeze sweeping through the trees. It looks and feels so peaceful.
