It's on days like these where I wonder if my minor is a mistake. I keep resting on what God said, "Go ahead and do it, but be careful." Heck yes, be careful! Good grief...The discussion today was on the idea of God being female or non-gender. Ummm....no. God is a man. And yes, both man and woman were created in His image. And I think it's stupid to say the Holy Spirit is a female just because the word is feminine. Yeah well, there are masculine and feminine forms of many words in Spanish, objects and places. Just because pen in spanish is masculine doesn't mean that only men must write, and just because living room is feminine doesn't mean that only women should be there. That's stupid. I think it's the same kind of thing. And yes, I know there are tons of loopholes in my arguments. I'm still reading up on it. Recovering Biblical Manhood and Womanhood is saving my skin at the moment, which is Chapter 3 at the moment. Ugh! What a day in class! Today's fear faced was speaking up about it, and then Dr. Hill turned it around to try and support his side. The bad news? The man was right, my argument sucked. Dang it! The good news? The Piper book is saving me out here. So is the New American Standard Bible. I want to know why the apocrypha was not included in our Bible (protestant). There must be a good reason for it. Maybe I'll email my pastor about it. I leave you now with quizilla results. Go, me! :-)
I would love a strawberry daquiri right now...virgin, of course. :-) (Ugh! Alcohol tastes so bad! Plus getting drunk...ummmm, no.)
