TM 196: One Wish
Congratulations! You've been granted one wish. What is it?
World Peace.
Isn't that what you're supposed to wish for? To win beauty pageants and stuff? Miss Teen Providence?
I wish for world peace, Mr. So-and-So Announcer. Of course, I do.
But if I can't have world peace - and I can't, I know this for a fact - if I can't have world peace, I'd like to be a hero. A super hero.
I think I was one, once. I have trouble making sense of it all but I think I was and I could be again. If somebody gave me the opportunity. If everybody just gave me a chance.
Before, I looked at things in this very particular way. Everything was either good or evil. Black or white. Right or wrong. I thought that's how things worked. But I was wrong. There's a lot of variation in between the extremes of things. I can't fix things.
But I can still be a hero. I think I can. I hope I can...
