watching new Stargate & Stargate:Atlantis episodes!

Since we know John has the ancient gene. In season 2 he was prized for this. What if? What if the reason he has this strong gene line is a grandfather or grandmother was an actual ancient. We know the ancients have had the ability to go into the past & future. That's why this idea is crazy but I still like it.
