I...thought I'd ask if everyone is doing all right, what with a vast majority of us shipping out soon. Not only those of us who are going with the Republic, but those who are being left behind, as well. I don't think it's going to be easy on any of us.
[She sighs. Her fingers wriggle absently and one of the delicate, beautiful ornaments she creates in her spare time rises in the air behind her, floats around in front of her face. She smiles at it, draws a circle with her index; the smile widens as the ornament glows slightly and echoes the movement]
I don't know where I've been assigned, precisely, but I do know that I'm a medic. Which should settle the minds of some people with more worries than sense.
