Jack has a really big mouth. I can't speak for anyone else, but they busted into my apartment, dragged me out, and kept me locked up in a very small cell for a week.

What are you planning to do that's going to get you arrested?

Did they never tell you why you were arrested? [ Erik frowns at that moment, knitting his brows in anger over the sheer fact that the incident occurred. ]

I actually haven't decided yet. Short of taking a more aggressive approach to the violence against us, probably a better look inside the Crimson Terror.

Of course they did. Hold on, I think the video is archived somewhere, actually. [And after a couple of minutes she uploads it.] They had evidence that I was the one who planted bombs at three locations, so I became the number one suspect.

To be fair, there really hasn't been much violence towards us, not since the good admiral killed Emer Ikuh. The Terror have been pretty quiet. No rantings about us, no bombings. No plagues.

[ If he was the sort of man to do this, Erik would have kissed her right about now because this? Definitely the better answers he's gotten in a while. ]

Even still, what's to stop them from continuing? The admiral's been freed only recently so more than likely they may start again.

Nothing, really. The war is sort of on everyone's minds, I think. [Or knows. Being a telepath makes things easier.] As for the admiral, I'd say the Sith would be more likely to go after her than the Terror, since she escaped from then.

Wouldn't that be a nice diversion? [ There's a roll of his eyes as Erik takes into account all of the players in the current game of war. The military and Jedi, the Sith, and of course all the other players that had been forced to intervene. ]

Surely the military can do without a single Admiral, can't they?

[Catty frowns.] The one admiral that takes our needs into consideration? Maybe the military can, but we need as many allies as we can get until you all either get sent home or we can assimilate into the population. Whichever comes first.

The Sith sure as hell aren't going to help us. Not without signing our souls over.

Given those two choices, between leaving and assimilating, temporary allies may not be the best.

[ There are moments when Erik forgets not everyone's been through the same thing as him, that others are much more preferable to finding themselves with company. The same way he had himself experienced the slightest hint of joy at running into Charles the first time. ]

It's not as if the majority of the Outworlders are against you. Most of us have common goals.
