Amane and Ootori

Sep 15, 2012 04:57

I have just witnessed something… interesting. Amane and Ootori do not appear to be the rebellious type, and yet I catch them prowling about at this hour. According to my copious experience regarding the matter, the only people who would rendezvous at such a time would be those who have something they wish to hide. …Naturally, this does not exclude ( Read more... )

amane, ootori, paranormal, i shouldn't have laughed, green flash in the sky

Suspicious persons must be apprehended immediately! D<
Do they pose a danger?

...Do Amane and Ootori pose a danger? Forgive my incredulity, Sanada, but you may as well have asked whether a box of orphaned kittens could be dangerous. As far as I am aware, those two are simply very tall and very quiet for the most part... I suppose it would depend on whether or not you might interpret that kind of behaviour as a source of danger.

He thinks giraffes and seagiraffes are dangerous, Sadaharu.

I'm positive you are far more dangerous at 4.37am than any imaginary greenlight. People just have primal urges, I believe.

...In that case, Amane and Ootori might be deadly. However, I don't think their loved ones would share such an opinion, so we must take care not to allow Sanada to become too attached to his idea of "apprehending" them.

Fufufu, Kyojyu, are you speaking from experience? Primal urges indeed. I resent your accusation that the light was imaginary. I resent it, but I decline to press the issue.

There's always more than meets the eyes, Sadaharu, you should know that.

I'll leave that, as always, to your imagination and assuptions, Hakase. Oh? So you're implying I am wrong, Sadaharu?

I would be loth to underestimate Ootori and Amane's deadly capacity. You could say that Amane's sense of humour kills me. I merely meant to suggest that their close friends may not appreciate it if they felt I had convinced Sanada, however indirectly, that they were a threat that should be neutralised.

Hmm~? You tease me, Renji. Do you, or do you not find me to be dangerous at 4.37 in the morning? You ought to tell me outright, or I will be forced to conduct further experiments into the matter...
Wrong about the light? We could continue to discuss this, but I am infinitely more interested in the topic of danger in the night time.

I found myself actually laughing at this statement, Sadaharu. It's would be terribly amusing to watch, though

I find you dangerous at every time of the day, Hakase. That's a compliment.

We're in an island. If there was anything dangerous it would have come to destroy/experiment with us far long ago. Stop feeding insanity, Sadaharu

I cannot tell if you would laugh at my pun or merely at my expense. It's 50% either way. Sanada is an amusing person, especially when he is distressed.

Ahaha! I'm so happy you would say so, Kyojyu. I also tremble at the thought of facing your wrath. Lovingly, of course.

What if it is already experimenting with us? Are you upset with me, or are you simply disinterested in this kind of data?

The quiet ones are the ones you need to look out for. ...Or however the saying goes. I mean, have you ever heard a giraffe vocalize?

Quite right, giraffes communicate with their eyes, rather than vocally. They are probably adept at approaching a target stealthily. ...Giraffes, that is; I would not venture to say the same goes for Amane and Ootori. They failed to escape my attention, for one.

Mmn. Their dull, dead eyes. Never make eye contact with those vile creatures if you know what's good for you. Giraffes are hardly the most inconspicuous creatures when they do not want to be, with such a height and evil presence streaming off of them-- but they are dangerous nevertheless, if one does not keep his guard up.

I am ashamed to report that I have, in fact, made contact with a giraffe. ...In the past, many years ago, of course. The zoo was allowing the visitors to feed the giraffes. It was... quite a relaxing experience. I fail to see how giraffes are quite so dangerous, but then they say that one is at their most vulnerable while they are feeding. Be sure to remain guarded for the giraffe's presence while you are eating. ...Ah, but you do not need me to tell you that, I'm sure.

[ooc: trigger warning - giraffes]

You let your guard down! That quite quite stupid of you, and you are fortunate to have come out of that encounter alive; one's guard must be kept up at all times when around those creatures!! Thank goodness the zoos are smart enough to keep them behind bars or-- While I am... eating? Here? THERE'S A GIRAFFE HERE!?

I am very sorry! It is certainly not a mistake I will be making twice.
...I have not seen a giraffe on this island. However, I have seen things here that I never expected to see. The green light being one of them. I simply meant that one should remain vigilant at all times.

I have heard a subspecies of them infest the seas... You do not think... they could have been responsible for the light? Giraffes, not only from the seas but also from the skies...!? I-- I must consult Renji on my next course of action.

Giraffes from the skies? I... cannot say that it would be impossible, as I do not know for certain what caused the light. I do, however, think it highly unlikely. I wouldn't let such an idea stop you from going about your business. Not to mention, if you do consult Renji about this subject, I daresay we will both be scolded...
