Amane and Ootori

Sep 15, 2012 04:57

I have just witnessed something… interesting. Amane and Ootori do not appear to be the rebellious type, and yet I catch them prowling about at this hour. According to my copious experience regarding the matter, the only people who would rendezvous at such a time would be those who have something they wish to hide. …Naturally, this does not exclude myself; I cannot disclose what I was actually investigating when I noticed them moving somewhat furtively towards the jungle.

I can't shake the feeling… no, the knowledge, that this is very unlike them. They are very straightforward creatures. Shady dealings by the light of the moon do not suit them. Was Amane ever the type to willingly leave his own dwelling place to consort with someone he is relatively unfamiliar with? Would Ootori be so secretive? Perhaps my data is lacking, but I find that my insights into their personalities could not be so vastly misinformed.

…Unless, this is more related to the 'matter' I was investigating than I at first imagined. Tell me, if anyone else was awake at 4.37 this morning, did you happen to notice the green flash in the sky? Not ten minutes later, Amane and Ootori walked past me in the direction of the light. Suppose they were being signalled by something… or someone? I wonder what business such a… visitor… might have with those two.

[ooc: Davide and Ootori have now disappeared and will be gone for a few days! As per the plan, Inui is just trying to stir up trouble by posting about them sneaking off together. Everything he mentions about the green flash in the sky here and from now on is a lie, and most likely indirect quotation from The War of The Worlds, told in order for him to (lovingly) tease Hiyoshi and later tempt him into helping.]

amane, ootori, paranormal, i shouldn't have laughed, green flash in the sky
