I rarely talk to my parents, but last night only reinforced my belief that their priorities where I'm concerned are ... skewed.

On the other hand, I suppose I do take advantage of the freedom that gives me, so who am I to complain. It is odd dreading a conversation, only to find it is of little interest at all to the other party.
