It's Friday and Gen. Franco is still dead
- Starting to get pressure from the parental units to put my career goals on the back burner (or abandon them altogether) and seek employment in another field just to get on somewhere. And while I know they mean well and are trying to help, it's taking all I can do to go off on them whenever it comes up.
- Proof I'm a power nerd: went to the Borders' store closing sale and wound up leaving with old school "Doctor Who" (Patrick Troughton era for those of you playing the home game) and another book on comparative communism. (Also got the first season of "Archer," "Nightmare Before Christmas" and a couple more books for comparatively cheap.)
- I miss living in Stillwater in the spring time, if for no other reason than the Gary England drinking game.
- Another trip to the 405 tomorrow, this time to participate in my chapter's annual spring service project.
- Addie's fighting her afternoon nap. Really don't feel like being Mom right now and it's too cold to load her up in the stroller. Damnit.
