EVITA this weekend!

The big week has finally arrived for "Evita". Four more rehearsals, and we go up. The cast sounds great, the costumes are slowly appearing, the set has survived its first week, the press photos look terrific, and as long as I can maintain my voice and remain healthy for the next two weeks, I think we've got one hell of a show. This is unlike anything you've seen me do before, I assure you. The people I've worked with are immensely talented, with a good sense of humor. I've been able to channel so much of my recent emotion through this role...hopefully I'll still have a voice by the end of the run. I was pretty sick and phlegm-laden a week or so ago, so I'm taking every step to NOT* be sick again. It's bad enough I can't get through a day of work without sneezing in front of people. But I guarantee you that I will be fine, and "Evita" will be terrific.
