a history of 1st dates
ok.
the past week couple of days have been intresting.
monday-went out for drinks with my friend sarah and then hung out with the fun guy friend from high school.
tuesday-went out for drinks at applebees with my old friend ben and his brother. that was a good time. we were gonna go see fantasic 4 but we got to the show too late so we went to their house and ben's girlfriend met up with us. shes awesome. i love her to death. we played my fav game (craiumin) and drank somemore and i lost my car key and got upset and called nate... bad idea when ever i talk to him he just seems annoyed. i think i am for sure over the crying when i see something or hear a song that reminds me of him.
last night- did something i never do, go out for drinks! but i went out with this guy who i met who works close to me and we smoke cigs together. so it was like a date. i've gone out with a few guys for sim-u-date but never really enjoyed it and i thought this was going to be the same way.
but this was the best first date i've ever had! going out for drinks turned into sitting at fronteria for 3 hours! and i mean there was no lull in the conversation, hes really funny and like all the same art and music i do. i dunno about an hour (and 2 coronas) into the night i started having a really good time. i dunno... it was awesome and i've never had a guy ask for a kiss in a way that wasn't really lame but i guess things changed. good kiss. ahhhhh. i feel so alive and i don't think i'm gonna die an old maid anymore. but i really don't want anything SERIOUS.....
lets look at my first date history... (and no a bad or good first date doesn't mean anything about the relationship)
brian hill-he was too shy and a real ass at the time.
justin king-nice guy saw old school but no real connection.
jw- it was just a date. nothing really special
david mcentee- it was a good time. probally the 2nd best 1st date i ever had. we went out to eat and then walked around the park.
nate- we actually had a really bad first date. but i already liked him so there were more. we went to o'charleys and he played with his food and then we were cuddling in the movie and he said guess what in my ear and burped.... NASTY. i guess a bad first date leads to a long relationship haha
people i went out/dated/ya know that kinda thing with but never really had "the first date"
