GIRLIE GIRL!

So, basically, I'm a heck of a lot girlier than i used to be. WOW! I was thinking tonight just how girlie I am. (As opposed to my tomboyish younger years!) See, I used to be against tanning, fake nails, make-up, and dressing up. Well, needless to say, I started wearing make-up in middle school. And when I began show choir in 10th grade, the make-up AMPLIFIED and I started tanning during season. Then, I got my nails done for competition season this year. I also have been dressing up randomly at school. I just like to look nice every once in a while. And I've gotten into bubble baths and expensive shampoos and exfoliating products and even aroma therapy. Bath & Body employees are great at roping you into buying things you don't need because they make you think you'll feel so much better. Fortunately, if you make yourself think you'll feel better, you normally do. I love my sleep aroma therapy stuff. I have pillow spray, vapor rub, and even shower gel. It's great and it is relaxing. But expensive. I even had hand scrub for a while. That was AWESOME! Back to the, "but expensive," aspect of all this girlieness! I've spent $30 on show choir make-up, $25 on tanning, $30 on my nails (and will spend $15 every two weeks to get them filled), and lots of my mama's money on clothes that look good on me. Fortunately, since Ashley moved out, she's more apt to spend a few more dolla's on yours truly! And the moral of this story: don't make fun of people's habits and trends... you may just end up being that someday.
