Coimbra
Coimbra has one of the oldest Universities in Europe. A beauitful old city south of Porto. With very tight and steep streets... it was kind of an adventure to get the Bus through there and to our hotel.
Arriving there around noon, we spent the rest of the day in the city.

The Joanina Library is gorgeous, but it is forbidden to take pictures in there....
Someone is living there... at least he has a room wih a view.

On our way back to the hotel we walked along the river which obviousely is THE recreational area in Coimbra for Sundays
