Nearly sorry to bother you all again... maybe I should set up a horse related filter. Please comment that you are annoyed by all the horse stuff and never want to look at this again, if you are!
And now, because
adafrog asked for it,
stable pictures (and some of the ponies because of the beautiful late afternoon light yesterday)
The stable was originally build about 30 years ago in the backyard of Florian's parents house. The house is build into a very steeply slope and the stable with the paddock and the riding area is placed at a terrace carved into the slope. The street is above the house and the stable, the path down is to steep to drive down there, nearly everything we need we have to carry down from the street.
Here we go:
The horse trailer (which is full of hay bales right now) and the cars of Florian, Susanne and me parked in front of the house:
The last one in the row is mine, the blue "Smurf" (Schlumpf) as I named it.
The path down to the stable (at which beginning I stood, when I took the car picture)
When I took the pictures only Ratte and Rattenkind were down at the stable area, Olga and Cisco did spend the day at the meadow (or do you say pasture?).
The riding area seen from the path
The paddock area (which is quite muddy these days because of all the rain we had last week)
And the view back to the path and to the entry gate
To the right there is the haystack, in front of this the horses are fed the hay
(this picture was taken later)
The view into the stable, which is ready for winter and freshly prepared for the straw mattress
looking out of the stable to the paddock area
between haystack and stable you find a passage to the backyard and garden of the house and into the cellar where the rest of the horse fodder is stocked and the saddles and rest of the tack.

Before I took the pictures of the stable I went up to the winter meadow where Olga and Cisco spent their day. There is not much grass left, but they have an apple tree up there. And Cisco loves it!

At the apple tree
Cisco's not contend with the windfall
Olga again (because I love her colour in this kind of light)
Then I hiked up to the highest point of the meadow, where the ponies usually don't have any grass, it is much to rocky up there. But they love to stand there in the wind, looking at the landscape. They do this for hours sometimes.
