(no subject)
Yesterday Olga was so nice, cute, well-behaved. I don’t know, everything was easy with her. She did give me her hooves even when I only asked her to by touching her legs. No discussing, no refusing, no pulling.
Ok, I’m just happy about those small mercies. ;o)
We prepared the stable for winter last night. Mucked out completely, put some drying stuff on the bottom (some pellets) and then very much fresh straw above. We did take pictures, I’ll post them tomorrow I think. :D
The stable is, after being a building site for the last few weeks, now fully usable again. So today Ratti and Olga have to spend their very first day together down there. Two alpha females on their own in a fairly tight space (but with enough space to avoid each other, too). They don’t hate each other but they can’t stand the other in their personal space either. They’ll have to learn. Susanne left them walking around, whinnying after Cisco and Rattenkind whom she lead to the meadow before. *shrugs* They’ll manage.
Olga and Ratti will have a dry and warm day at least, the other two are out in the sleet.
