The Very Definition of a Good Night
Tonight dasein_plushie and I had our traditional Pre-xmas/Saturnalia night, no family, no work - just us... Its been a tradition for a while now - we relax, indulge, exchange presents, etc.
So tonight I had a nice 19oz Kobe Beef NY Strip (no one could argue that a Waygu Cow had a bad life - honestly, I'd gladly be slaughtered if I spent all of my days being massaged with rice wine). And for Amy I made Fetucinni with a White Truffle sauce.
So Kobe Beef and White truffles, a piece of Zebra Torte with Illy Espresso and now I'm enjoying a nice 25 year old Single Malt... Does life get any better?
I got some great Think Geekery, including some giant microbes stuff, and something that I'll test right after this glass of scotch - my own portable breathalyzer.
Anyway dasein_plushie seemed happy with the laptop I got her, which in turn made me very happy indeed.
Soon we will continue with our Battlestar Galactica marathon...
