X-Files real?
So, according to this one guy, who wrote a crazy book, much of the things in X-Files are actually true. Aliens ARE returning in the year 2012, ARE hostile, and ARE intending to make alien-human hybrids using our knowledge of genetic manipulation.
Oh, except his theory has them not as interplanetary beings but as demonic trans-dimensional agents of Satan who came down to earth in the Old Testament and created the Nephilim (and yes the Nephilim do appear in the Bible, and yes they are the offspring of beings from the sky who crossed themselves with humans...except in the Bible the beings from the sky weren't described like aliens).
The cover of this man's book has a Stargate on it. Not sure where that came from. Although it might have something to do with the fact that he believes all sci fi movies and shows are conditioning us to accept the message of these "aliens" when they visit in 2012.
I don't know which is more sad - that he took time to write this all down in a book, or that other people on Amazon read it and thought it was good.
Anyway, aside from 2012, life continues on as normal. I continue to work on the novel proposal, which is slow going. Had some serious late-night adventures on Saturday at the parent's house, quite by accident. Sunday was the usual food fare at Phyllis's, and I ate myself into a near-diabetic state when she offered us super-chocolaty brownies smothered in the richest chocolate icing I've ever had. Jaron was appalled. :) Today I helped Rosa's sister prepare for Rosa's wedding shower, and while doing this was attacked several times by the cutest black kitten you'll ever see. He has a mew that sounds like some crazed electronic toy, but that just gives him personality.
