Only cause I heart Docjunkie do I allow myself to fill out this survey... hah, Every now and then the textual exhibitionist shows itself (literally).
1. Elaborate on your default icon.
Two Winters ago, I found out I was receiving a car from my cousin Kevin. A Geo Metro. When trying to come up with a name, I was toying with Metronome and in my head the word read MetroGnome. Because of its small size I liked the idea and decided to go even further with my favorite Gnome character I ever created for storytelling. Fezzlin. It stuck, I created a small figurine of Fezzlin out of sculpy that to this day remains in my car, to protect it. The picture was taken of the figurine within the first week of driving the car in Northern California.
2. What's your current relationship status? I am living with my Girlfriend Alice with our two short-bus kittens. We’ve been together some 5 years with a break in the middle and everyone seems concerned that we are not married yet.
3. Ever have a near-death experience ... explain? Hmm… My right lung collapsed three years ago and I waited six hours before going to the hospital. I thought it was just Bronchitis
4. Ever lost a family member or love that to this day profoundly effects your life ...explain? When I was twelve years old, my Older brother came to live with us again for six months. He was depressed. He sank lower and lower until one April afternoon he disappeared and no one knew where he’d gone. I’d walk to the back screen window watching to see if any car passing the Alley was his. I found out one horrible morning that he had shot himself in the forehead in some campsite in Nevada (One day I will visit the exact location if I can). To this day I look for his traits in other people and wish everyday that he was around to talk to, to tell him how scared I am of my future, how much I miss him, how much I want every day, every day, to share a beer with him. He was a Gamer like me, Table Top RPGs and VG games. I would love to have him around to game with today. My favorite character I ever played was a Dwarf cleric that was the brother of another dwarf character. I miss him everyday of my life and have come up with a CD soundtrack I listen to when I need him around. I have written poetry and stories about him and I will likely write a novel about me and him when I can get the courage to do so. I want so badly for Scott to be around that I write letters to him on occasion as if he were still around. It still hurts. A lot.
5. Do you believe you can have only one best friend? If not, how many "best friends" do you have? I am not sure I do. I believe in Intimate Friends (The people you tell everything and anything) Good Friends (Those people you love to hang out with) and Friends, People you know and often hang out with, but can’t really trust to be there for you.
6. Ever been seriously hurt (emotionally or physically) by a best friend? Yep, when I was 18 I planned this huge party for my 19th birthday. Planned the whole thing myself, made these amazing invitations, bought the food, prizes, got up early to fill waterballoons. My two bestfriends at the time, never showed.
7. Name an obvious quality you have? I am outwardly kind to everyone.
8. Name an aspect about yourself that you wish you could change and why? I wish I were more competitive. If I had some sort of edge to drive me, I think I would be a lot better at anything. As long as I pushed to be the best, but I am always comfortable with being B+.

12. Do you have a crush on someone, do you think they know it, and if they knew it, would it change your relationship? I have crushes on lots of people. No they don’t know it and if any of them did, it would make things awkward.

Fantasy: If you were granted a wish that would allow you to be with any one person in the world and this wish would make this person be your perfect soul mate who would that person be? Julianne Moore, yes she’s twice my age, but seriously people. HOTNESS. No, seriously.

17. Have you ever hurt yourself on purpose? I punch stuff when I’m really angry. Thinking it’s better to hurt myself than someone else.

20. Do you like pain and if so, how do you like it inflicted? No not really, I spent much of my youth afraid of many many things, including being beat up for no apparent reason.
21. Do you like to shop? What do you spend way too much money on? Meh. I do however, have stacks and stacks of books that I have purchased that I have not read yet. I love to buy books.

27. Do you like redheads? Oh holy God, YES. It actually borders on Fetish. Julianne Moore is truly gorgeous. Mmmmm redheads.

29. Do you have any weird relatives? Yeah I suppose so, but none of them seem that weird to me.
30. What was the last movie you watched? Miami Vice. It was a well made movie, with tight dialogue and good pacing, but kind of a crappy macho story. Did I still love it? Yep.
31. What was the last book you read? Lord of the Flies. Never realized how amazing that book was until now. Though the ending is a bit of a let down.
32. Name a favorite band or Solo artist you wish people knew more about or wished people knew were still around? Gary Jules.
33. If you could magically change occupations and do what you'd really love to be doing (and were guaranteed to be sucessful at it) what would it be and why? Writing Short Stories and Novels full time. Teaching Creative Writing.
