A sigh of relief
So all the blood work came back negative. ::phew:: The joint pain remains, but at least I don't have lupus or RA like the doc thought. He said it could be a virus lingering from when I had bronchitis over a month ago, or an allergic reaction to the antibiotic. It should be gone in another 4 weeks or so. As long as it disappears, I will be fine with it.
Aaron and I bought a new computer yesterday evening. Well, new to us anyway. We got an iMac G4 with a DVD/ combo drive and it's adorable. I was working on it yesterday and it was so much easier to look at then our old lump of a PC. The monitor is tiny and swivels all over the place. Adorable. It kind of smells like stale smoke at the moment, but we're working on that.
Thanksgiving is in less than two weeks. I started planning the meal. I think I'm keeping it pretty much the same as last year except for the turkey. I'm excited to go shopping for the holiday! I love cooking for people and this year we will have a small crowd. I'm still trying to finagle a way we won't have to do it in the basement again. It would be so much cuter anywhere else, but it's not a total loss. Everyone has been in our basement before and it's not like it's disgusting. It's just a partially finished basement with exposed duct work. I think we may take care of that next summer. We want to put in a drop ceiling at least. Maybe it will insulate it a little better.
