Apparently, I'm a zomg!superawesome genius.
Who knew.
And no, I didn't find a cure for diabetes or Twilight. I made a CD label in Corel Draw. You know, the round thingies that go directly on the CD with a hole in the middle? It consisted of a green background, a picture and some text. I bet you're really impressed by my mad computer skillz right now.
I did it as a favor for someone at work, because it's no big deal and said someone is apparently completely clueless when it comes to anything that goes beyond putting a pretty picture in a Word text. I know these people exist, although it's a bit sad for someone with a PhD, even if you're 50ish, but hey.
My real problem was the fact, that he decided to watch me make the label. As in standing right behind me, looking over my shoulder, ohhing and ahhing the entire time.
Me: *opens programm, loads convenient label template*
Him: This is amazing! I wish I know how to do this. I really need to learn it. You young people are always so good with this. Fantastic!
Me: *twitch* It's really no big deal. I'm actually not very good with this program, but this is pretty basic stuff. *colors the label green*
Him: No no, this is really fantastic. So that is how you do it. I really need to learn. This looks great, really great!
Me: *twitchtwitch* *imports picture*
Him: Can we move the picture to another place on the label? Only if it's possible, of course. And make it a bit smaller, maybe?
Me: Uhh, sure. No problem. *klickedyklick*
Him: Ohhh, you really make that look so easy. I could never do that. Fantastic!
Me: ... *adds text*
Him: Oh, this looks really great. Thank you so much. No really, thank you. This is great. Isn't this great?
Me: *twiiiiiiiiitch*
this and that,
wtf
