I just bought Neverwinter Nights 2 and after a delayed start (stupid packet delivery guys *grrr*) I was looking forward to playing it. Only it turns out, that the DVD drive on my laptop won't recognize the DVD ( Read more... )

I had the same problem with Morrowind. I had no problems with the installation but when I tried to start the game I'd get an error message telling me the CD is missing. WTF?!
Oh yeah, and the support was totally helpful... NOT!

(BTW, we just watched X-Men Origins: Wolverine - It was awful! How the fuck did it get 7(!) stars on imdb?!)

but it worked, it finally worked. Yesssssssssssss!!! Now I only have to install like five gazillion patches. Srsly, the updater has been running for half an hour now and shows no sign of stopping. o_O

surprisingly enough the download was extremely fast, there were just a gazillion patches to install because the newest don't contain the older patches and each was 40MB easy so you had to go 1.0->1.1->1.2. etc etc

but.it.worked.bitches.
take that Securom v7

and then I went to bed around 2:30am, lol
