Lump on hand
OMG, I just got quite a scare. My husband noticed a very hard lump on the back of my hand near my wrist. When palpated, it is a bit painful. It is more pronounced when I flex my wrist. I'm surprised I hadn't noticed it before. It feels like it's a growth on the bone. Of course everybody associates growths with cancer. I started worrying a lot. Of course it's Saturday and family doc isn't open. So off to the internet I went. After looking through some sites, it looks like I might have a ganglion cyst, which is benign. I'll be going to the doc as soon as I can to have it checked out. Still worried though.
