Crab and Eggplant Cannelloni with Balsamic Cream Sauce

Chocolate Ice Cream
(we have a gel-pack electric ice cream maker)

It's not the inaugural batch, which was an attempt at blueberry sorbet (note, kids, ALWAYS strain the blueberry skins from your mix!), but it's the first time I've attempted a custard-base.

I'll know in about 30min if it worked.

mmmmmm... turkey franks on whole wheat buns w/ real vermont (white) cheddar and homemade bbq-ish sauce, with a side of American Gods (Chapter 11).
