I have a home!

Last night was wild. I attended this staff party at the student nation, and there was... booze. Lots and lots of booze. Now, usually, a glass of wine doesn't affect me that much, but I had carried heavy boxes and furniture up and down stairs all day, I had barely eaten anything and I was in a very peculiar mood -- overexcited and bouncy -- so I got really, really tired and woozy, so I went home early to get some sleep.
I had a great time, though -- the food was delicious and most of the people who work at the nation are such sweethearts.
We don't have to mention the fact that I woke up with a headache, though, or that the world started to spin as soon as I opened my eyes. =^^=

On the plus side: My room is now inhabitable! Thank you,
celebrion,  for helping me out. You're the god of screwing things together. (Hmm. That sounds quite kinky if you leave out the "things together" part. *grins*)

Basically, I woke up to a total mess today, and it took time and effort to unpack and arrange stuff. Also -- considering they way I felt when I awoke today -- it's quite a miracle that I pulled it off without breaking down and crying.

Oh well. It's been a good day and it ended well despite headaches and spinning worlds. Niklas and I had dinner at the nation and then we moved on to Teresa's to watch Buffy the Vampire Slayer.

Tomorrow I'm going downtown to buy cords and other things I need (possibly a bar of chocolate), and then I'm off to Malin's to spend the evening at her place.
On Friday and Saturday I'll be working. When, oh when, will I have time to write that essay on Neil Gaiman's Coraline?
