I finally made a curling icon. Well, two curling icons. Even though after this week I won't need them again for another four years.

Fabulous U.S.-Britain match today. The U.S. men are looking terrific. I only wish the U.S. women were doing as well, since it's their games that NBC insists on showing.

How do they decide which team goes first in each end? They don't just alternate, do they?

Women's curling, U.S. v. Norway. The U.S. got off to a good start, but they had a bad fifth end and Norway tied. It's looking like the U.S. will get at least one in the sixth end, so that's something. Mostly I'm loving the Minnesota accent of one of the announcers ( Read more... )
