Just an update....or is it?

Now that all is said and DONE, I finally have a fully functional stereo system in the Jetta. And by 'system' I mean just that. Its equipped with a Pinoeer 50W detachable face plate CD Deck HU, 2 12" RockFord Fosgate subs and an 800W RockFord Fosgate amp to power them. Also included is a bass boosting controller unit for the front of the car. I give my props to my good friend Mike Thomas for the help in picking out the parts/wires and for the help and knowledge on how to install it by ourself so we didn't have to take it somewhere and pay to get it done.
This past week I was feeling generous and wanted to help out a new Target store in Trumbull CT. My managers said they are paying overtime, and we get free hotel accomidations if we want to go work there a few days. So Wednesday night I drove to Trumbull CT approx. 125 miles from my house and stayed overnight at a really nice Mariott which costs $299.99 a night for single person, and I paid NOTHING. Granted...I drove all the way down there with no map, and the only directions I had were a few short ones that I wrote off Mapquest which ended up taking me the most round about way through scenic CT and wasted more time than the route I took home, also with no map and didn't use any directions! Props to myself for the navigation to and from this out of state store I've never been to.
This week Mike and I played the DDRMAX game at URI just to try it out. Since neither of us had ever tried it before, and it was closed for break, the place was empty. After we played it we played again because it was that much fun. That night we went to BestBuy to see how much it cost for the game and the dance mat. I however, shopped around and got mine at...(where else than my slave home)...TARGET®. It was on sale for $59.99 for the DDRMAX EXTREME game which is the newest one, and it came with a dance mat which is quite decent I think. Its not as awesome as the mat at BestBuy for $99.99, but its definetly satisfying for me. I found that the first time I tried my game and mat at home...I played for 3 hours and was still addicted! There needs to be more time in a single day, just so I can enjoy all my hott video games. But at least now I'm getting a workout while sitting in front of the tv playing this video game. It is lots of fun but can be very fast paced depending how hard you have the settings or according to each song by how many beats per minute. Right now my highest combo for consecutive beats in a row is 67, and there is one song that pauses twice in the song but it never fails to throw me off, for some reason I can get 63 beats and then the pause will keep reseting them. I have mastered I think 3 songs so far that I can get about 98% perfect hits.
