After almost 200,000 miles, my Jetta needs some new parts. Rear Struts/Shocks, track-arm bushings, and possibly rear brakes. The driving was significantly impared escpecially on the highway when you travel 60MPH+. It felt as if I was driving with bald tires on black ice......meaning no traction. Also I'd notice the back end sliding back and forth and it was like at any second the car would start spiraling down the highway in a clockwise manner of 360s. After taking it to my mechanic and realizing that he didn't have the proper tools and he never had to replace those bushings before...we decided that its best to take it to my dealer. So right now its at FIORE in west warwick awaiting service which should get done by Monday...estimated cost for parts, tax, and labor = $600.00.
