Anyway, I went on a bit of a web search for ideas for my German dress, and I decided to take a look at jenthompson's Feature Attyre, just to see. And I found this. Oh. My. God. That has got to be one of the best German costumes I've ever seen. It doesn't look like a costume. It looks like

Hey if you head over to the Elizabethan Costume page by Drea, there is a whole section devoted to German costume under the Frazzled Frau. It's under the paintings section. I used it for planning my Judith repro. Oh and I started cutting fabric for the Corset dress. ;)
