Whew! Okay. So. The idea, with Ghosts, is to eventually send it to print. To that end, everything I've done has been sized to print templates, with bleed, at 300 dpi and is saved on my harddrive that way and then backed up twice (once on an online backup, once on a removeable harddrive) before I ever size it down for posting online because I'll be ( Read more... )

It's amazing the things (minor, yes, but noticeable) which have to be either tweaked or shifted or are just plain noticed once you start putting three different timelines together into one monster document and then make a map to go with it.

I'm practicing the actual professional version of how to color comic book style, which involves photoshop and NOT painter, and speed over painstaking painting, and excessive use of your lasso tool and brushes set on multiply and screen. Ideally, one should be able to knock out a whole page in this style in a few hours ( Read more... )
