I liiiiiiive

The amount of time I spend off of here is ridiculous. I should shake off the bad social media taste that tumblr has left on me and get back to interacting here in journal land. Forgive me? I've been awol and out of spoons.

Physically I'm doing much better (no cramps! months and months with no cramps, omg) not counting the latest around of mild-flu-like-symptoms, but hey, 'tis the season. Mentally I'm still kind of flat and tired much of the time. My spoons are being hoarded and doled out in small measures.

Current Gaming: Minecraft. Oh god, no one should ever have taught me how to create powered rails. I just want to make sky trams and roller coasters and ride them around for hours. Or make slime block trampolines. XD

Current Writing: You haven't seen it. No, really, unless you're my wife, you haven't seen it. *cracks fingers* But you will. I have a deadline of christmas to get this book finished. Nanowrimo is next month, and I'm armed with a chapter by chapter outline and the first few chapters already done. This is SO on, and then it is going straight to self-pub after editing. I'll be throwing the thing at y'all come january, trying to drum up reader reviews (there's a lot of indie marketing lists that will only accept you if you have X number of reviews on amazon).

In RL my dad called last night - he's going to a cardiologist, high likelihood of surgery needed. >_< Keeping my fingers crossed. Dad is a doctor and knows all the risks and seemed in pretty good spirits about increased health after it's all done. Shall hope and pray for the best.

Hi. This year has been both full of stuff and very boring at the same time. I feel like I never have anything to tell my parents when they call except "yep, still married, still working" because the day to day minutia of the job eats up just about everything.

Oh! I finished the @#$%! iPhone app at work! *pats self on back* omg I hate Xcode with a passion, but it's done Done DONE and released and good riddance - I can tick it off my goals and put it on my resume and hopefully never do it again. =P At least not in Xcode. Blargh.

Hi, internet. How are you all doing?
