I have a
list of goals made before I graduated - I've done some of them, not done others, and probably need to re-evaluate what I actually want to or feel up to doing.
Other things I do to prod myself along is
Habit RPG and an accounting/tracker for myself on a private page where I keep track of word count written and assorted things I've done.
On
Goodreads I've read 15 of the 50 books I challenged myself to. Being behind the spaced out year-to-date goal there just makes me laugh, because I can read 4 books in a weekend if I'm in a good reading mood, no problem. (Regarding my goodreads ratings on books - 2 stars = "I want the hours I wasted reading this book back", 3 stars = "decently entertaining", and 4 stars = "A+, will probably read again". 5 stars are personal favorites, 1 star you'll almost never see because it would mean I couldn't finish the book and chucked it in the trash.)
I think, for the second half of the year, I will challenge myself to
walk from Hobbiton to the breaking of the Fellowship. It's just enough over my average daily walking distance to push me to do a bit extra.
I draw a little bit each day, though y'all aren't seeing it. The goal is just to loosen up and get faster.
Mostly I just want to survive the rest of this year. Financially, mentally, physically. Get myself in better shape (on all those fronts) then I started with this year, and not be in WORSE shape in anything. That's the real goal.
