I am NOT a concert go-er, musically speaking. I don't go to concerts. Chamber musicals or other classical music venues, sometimes, maybe, but particularly with current day bands, I haven't been to a "concert" since, oh, middle school and seeing Cyndi Lauper and Debbie Gibson in concert, if that gives you some time frame to go by. =P
But. BUT. The same place we're going to go see Riverdance at (Wolf Trap) is going to have, in August, for one day only, Great Big Sea opening for Carbon Leaf. Aaauuuurrrghhhhhh. If it were either of them alone, I could resist. But. But! Both of them together? $35 tickets? [whimper] [paws at screen] Really sort of kind of WANT. Um. Dammit. I don't *do* concerts. Musicals, plays, performances involving music with some other sort of performance art combined, sure, not just music by itself. But. um.
[conflicted!] I don't know if I should go. I don't know if I could talk anyone into going with me! I don't know if I want to go by myself! ARGH! Stupid temptation!
