An honourary degree I'm very happy to see

Hooray for The University of Western Ontario for recognizing the contributions of Dr. Henry Morgentaler by conferring on him an honourary Doctor of Laws, in the face of controversy and protesting anti-choice zealots. Excellent decision! I can hardly think of a public figure more deserving of the recognition.

It's good to see bureaucracy make powerful, controversial decisions. Well, when I agree with them, that is ;-)

I wonder if the university's administration has ordered bomb detectors and hired extra security to ward off the fury of the more violent nutcases...
