“I fell in love with you over a cup of tea you know,” Roy said as he watched Tim prepare them both a cup.
Tim's lips quirked a bit. “Over a cup of tea?”
“Scrawny little kid you were back then, too damn bright for your own good.” Roy said as he walked up behind Tim, smoothing his hand down Tim's arms.
“Well aren't you just a great big flatterer. You keep this up and I'll blush,” Tim said as he leaned back against Roy. “So when did this vision of love take place?”
“Titan's Tower. You had just turned eighteen,” Roy said as he began playing with the short hairs at the nape of Tim's neck.
“Ah the lure of being legal,” Tim smirked.
Roy made a face as he slapped Tim's ass lightly. “Hey I'm trying to have a moment here.”
Tim turned around with his mug in his hands, looking up at Roy from beneath his lashes. “Sorry. No more ruined moments. So you said it was Titan's Tower? What made this time so special. It's not like that was the first time we ever met.”
“No not the first time,” Roy said as he leaned closer, putting a hand on the counter on either side of Tim, trapping him between himself and the counter. “But it was the time. You were all curled up at the computer, you were holding a cup of tea, and for some reason I couldn't keep my eyes off of you.”
“And what was so alluring about me working at the computer?”
Roy cupped Tim's chin and tilted it up so he could see Tim's face clearly. “Your eyes. Those big beautiful, bright blue eyes. It was like you were seeing all the answers to the universe and it was all under your control. I so wanted to know what you were seeing.”
“Funny, there were times when I was sure you didn't even know I was there,” Tim said softly.
“I knew. Didn't you start wondering why I started bringing you tea every time you were in the computer room? Figured sooner or later I'd get your attention. Find out what the big secret was.” Roy whispered as he touched his forehead to Tim's.
“Did you ever figure it out? The big secret?”
“Not yet. Something like this takes a long time to figure out, but I'm loving figuring it out,” Roy said. His breath warmed Tim's skin as he leaned in kissing the edge of his mouth, before licking his way into Tim's mouth. Tim tasted of mouth wash, tea, and something that was uniquely Tim.
