Happy Smiling Clocks
It was pointed out to me recently (by Dave Gorman in his stage show, not actually personally to me) that people selling clocks tend to set the hands so the clock appears to be smiling. Sometimes it'll be ten to two, but more often it's ten past ten. Or, most likely, a couple of minutes either way - 10:08 or 10:12 - so it's not so obvious
