Last Quarter of 2013 - already

My goals for the end of the year:

Get back in the routine of checking my social media, including LJ, every day. Seriously, work is not going to burn down. Well, it might, but it’s not going to hurt to take 30 minutes every day and actually do something I enjoy.

Finish one of the fanfics I have started. I have a few one-shots that have been 2/3rds of the way done for about a year….. it’ll take a few hours to finish one of them. Just do it.

Take a lunch hour every day. If I have to run out of the office with a line of people waiting outside, I just have to treat it like any other appointment and get the hell outside for a few seconds. Again, the world is not going to collapse.

Get my apartment clean. Well, darth_mom is coming to visit, so that’s got to happen if I have time for it or not.

Actually manage to get out of work for a Champion’s League game and watch it and enjoy it. Seriously, I’ve had them all blocked for months. There CAN NOT be that many important meetings. Draw a line; hint: it’s Ashley Cole. And it’s not next week, because I already do have a meeting I can’t get out of then.

Get back to communicating with people regularly. I’ve let a lot of my long-distance friendships slip because I can’t travel so much for fun anymore (because I’m broke, and travelling too much for business). Again, hello social media. If I just get back into the habit, this really shouldn’t be that hard.

Get back to book blogging, and figure out if I re-collapse my two LJs. I enjoy it.
