Another 100 things Blogging Challenge Entry.

Reminder: I’m posting 20 times, 1 each about 20 - TV shows I’m watching (and you should too):

1) Switched At Birth, ABC Family
2) Make It Or Break It, ABC Family
3) Fairly Legal, USA

4) Army Wives, Lifetime

I’ve been hooked on this show since Episode 1. It was promoted a ton before it began, so I was skeptical it could do a good job and sustain it across seasons. I'm happy to be wrong. I run to my DVR to watch this every week. Army Wives confronts all sorts of issues of life in and around the military in an interesting way and with believable and flawed characters.

In a nutshell, the show follows the struggles, dreams and friendships of a diverse group of women - and one man - living with their spouses and families on an active Army post. They address different types of Army ‘husbands’ - special forces, enlisted, officers, admin, fighting, etc. And they deal with different types of deployments - war, peace keeping, domestic, short term, long term, etc. They’ve done a very good job of keeping both the army life, and the characters well rounded. And you CARE about the characters and the twists and turns in their lives and careers.

What’s going to keep you watching? These characters - they’re all so diverse and well developed. Even as they keep adding new “side” characters, you become invested in watching them too.

Full Episodes are available on the show’s website
