sustainable agriculture
Prince Charles delivered a fantastic speech on sustainable agriculture today at Georgetown.
I’ve always been a supporter of local agriculture (and vino!) and family farming (not surprising given my family roots are farmers). I’ve increasingly become engaged and passionate on sustainable, local agriculture (both independently and together) as the years pass.
I’m a long way off from making all the changes to my diet and habits that I’d ideally like to, especially in this area, but every passing month I think I make some progress -- so I’m moving in the right direction.
I’m even more fired up after listening to this speech! I’ll have to listen to it from time to time again.
