I'm not sure if I will, either ... it serves the same purpose as the Lexicon, so I can't imagine that the Lexicon will refrain from putting all those back stories in there.
I'd buy it... just to know what she had intended for the minor characters. Curosity more than anything. But I wouldn't abide by it in writing fanfic (of course, I'm also not going to comply with the Epilogue of Doom either).
I am dying to find out who the new Headmaster is, and what kind of careers everyone ended up with! What kind of job can you get with a resume that says "Age 17: Killed Voldemort"? And who's going to be Minister of Magic?
The trio dropped out of school, but would there be any point in them going back to finish after what they accomplished? Would they be honorary graduates? WHAT?!
Yeah, I want to know what she has intended for those questions too.... of course, I won't write fanfic according to whatever she he would have in there because I already have answers to all of those questions in my brain and I like mine better than what she's said already (this morning on Today).
I assumed she was just using the generic term of encyclopedia to describe Hogwarts: A History. Maybe I'm wrong. I'll definitely be buying it though because it will have more information than what the Lexicon has because they only have what has been revealed in the books, not the back story.
Well that would be cool! Ok... I feel better about that! I'll be buying it too... besides just wanting to know what she has to say, I would just need to fill in my collection!
