An Encyclopedia! (spoilers in link) I was hoping for Hogwarts: A History. But I can live with an encyclopedia.
Of course then she will probably make it explicitly clear that she really meant for Snape to be dead. But… that's ok, I'll consider only the 7 books to be cannon and she didn't care about making it clear in there. So, yeah, still alive.
