I've finally realized what "South Park" reminds me of: Fandom_Wank. Cartman is every wanker you've ever encountered: callous, egocentric, and occasionally bigoted. His friends are the wankas who refuse to take him seriously and only really tolerate him mocking him is a little more legal than violence.
In tonight's episode, Cartman invokes Godwin's Law after his mother puts him on a diet.
Friend: Have you lost more weight?
Cartman: I've lost 10 pounds! Dude, I totally know what it was like to be a Jew in the Holocaust, now! You have to help me kill my mom!
Friend: Cartman, you shouldn't kill your mom. That's not cool.
Cartman: She's Hitler! You'd help me kill Hitler, wouldn't you?
