She's talkin' bout a revolution, you guys. I love how I start all of these with "you guys," especially considering I'm 95% certain you're all ladies reading this. Whatev! She's talkin' bout a revolution, you ladies! Tracy Chapman has been making sweet, sweet acoustic poetry for over 20 freakin years now. And she hasn't aged, like, at all. Her dreads got a little longer. I have to admit I haven't kept up on her more recent music because when you create basically a perfect album in 1988, where to go from there? Her eponymous CD, Tracy Chapman, is sad, powerful, and timeless, and it needs to be a part of your music collection.
