"I have stood at the gates to the Silver City, gazed upon its splendors, once free to roam it as I saw fit.
I have perched at the edge of the Abyss, looked down upon its endles torments, once granted safe passage to enter and leave at my will.
I am older than the stars of the night sky, the only one to choose neither side in the war.
And because I chose neither, now I am here. I live and walk among mankind as one of them, as I believed I would for all eternity. Aeons back, my actions for humanity denied me the chance to again walk anywhere but here, in this mortal plane, among them. But even we know only those parts of the future which we are shown, and I am starting to see shimmers, glimpses of a future I did not expect.
War is coming again. But this time, again, my side is clear. Each side fights to see who will claim the prize. But I alone fight on behalf of the prize. Like two brothers fighting over who will keep a pet animal, they fight over who will claim dominance over humanity. But my side now is here, among the mortals, and with all our strength and allies we will show that this prize has some control over its own destiny. After all, that was the point of free will. We will face down all that heaven and hell have to throw. This time, the prize will fight as well. This time will be different. War is coming, and this time, I will fight."
