summertime
so i jsut got an email from my dad. it was so wierd, he said when he disaasembled my old dresser to move it, he found a letter i wrote that said on the outside 'never read, even if i'm dead.' i'm so curious what was in it. but i told him to throw it out. it's easier than holding on to it i guess, and if it's there, they may be tempted to read it, i know i would. i was so weird when i was younger, i probabaly wrote it in my 'eyes-all-over-my-closet phase'.
so i spent the weekend on shuswap lake with my 'aunt' and 'uncle'. it was so nice. they are 60+ and we had a nice relaxing weekend and did as the retired do. i kept on beign offered mroe and more booze. not to the point of drunk, but cute old people drinks. i turned it down alot actually. my 'uncle' is irish so he made me a Beer Shandy. which is a 50/50 beer and ginger ale. very nice concoction. we went motor boating, and canoeing, and walking, and i went for a nice run around the lake, it's so nice to run in a nice atmosphere. i was kinda scared for bears though.
and then i stopped by in kamloops and got to visit with val, always quite nice. and office depot was suprisngly interesting b/c of my love of stationary supplies.
this morning i woke up and made my 'aunt' a cute card using fun stamps. so fun, i LOVE stamping.
gotta get on making that skirt, will try to today... and to learn japonese, and finsih my GG DVDs, and make the next scrapbook, and read my stack of books. i got alot to do. thank goodness it's all enjoyable.
