he didn't have to be

friday i had an exciting trip to wally-town. bought a fun pattern and fun matieral to make a funky skirt. pretty pumped to start. left a water bottle there.

went to van this past weekend. on friday night, we went to a fun irish pub, then gambling...dropped $7.50 in two spins. learned to check what value of slot machine i'm sitting at.

sat we went to surrey, spent alot, bought alot. one being season 5 of Gilmore Girls!!!!!!!! already watched 6 hour-long episodes. at night we went out, had a semi-decent time at a club, then walked to granville and sat drinking coffee between 1-2am people watching, making up stories about everyone. then slept on a couch in my jeans and nice top. never like doing that, but it was ok.

i might have made a record between eating meals. i ate dinner at 6pm one night, then not again until 1pm the next day. and i wasn't even hungry. i had 3 beer and 2 coffees in that time, but still. then on the way back we stopped at a sweet all-you-can-eat chinese buffet and made up for the empty stomach and scarfed down ALOT. so i've gone on 2 long runs since to burn off that MSG.

other than the run, i had a lazy day yesterday then went to bed at 8:45pm last night. yah! i know. i got 9.5 hours sleep! got up at 6am with a perkiness i don't even recognize. actually i was ready to get out of bed at 4:04am when i first woke up...from the SUN! the sun should NOT be up at 4am, but i'm so glad i acutally got a proper sleep. for once.

threw out 8 ratty pairs of underwear, b/c i bought 11 new pairs this weekend!

i am so frusterated with my shitty tweezers, btu am too lazy/cheap to buy another pair, so i'm forced to go for the bushy look till i snack myself into common sense.

good new artists i've found:

damien rice-try 'cannonball'...male tracy chapman'ish
katie melua-try '9 million bicycles'... british jazz vocals, with sweet lyrics
Nizlopi-try 'JCP song'...jack johnson/tracy chapman'ish
Keane- i know they're not new, but try 'somewhere only we know'
