Princess Princess
You know, on occassion my plans go seriously pear-shaped and it's beyond excellent. I dloaded Princess Princess some time ago and finally watched it. My plan was to watch an episode or two, and then do something more productive. Definitely NOT to watch all 12 episodes and laugh till I was hurting. I couldn't help it! 
blueutopiah was right: it's Crack, with a capital and gothic lolita bois.
The sparkling and shining! Literally blinding smiles and flowers and feathers floating around! The frilly dresses and adorable chibis! The violins in the background! The adoring fans!
I can't choose my favourite scene because the whole series was that good, but some which almost killed me were
- I think it was in episode #2: Terrified chibi!Mikoto, and the chains and whiplashes and evil cackling in the background!
- Every time Arisada did his Ev0l Eye thing and/or appeared with the rest of the Council to save the Princesses. Especially that stalker episode when they attacked from the bushes.
- Yuujirou's past. The whole narrative suggested angst, woe and child-abuse: "And then he put his big, sweaty hand on my shoulder.... and asked if he can marry my mom." I was so with Tooru and his WTF expression while at the same time laughing my ass off for the sheer brilliance of the scene.
- When the princesses smiled with sparks and shining, and one fanboy exclaimed "It's good to be alive!".
- The whole Sakamoto family episode. Oh gods, they were hilarious. And the UFOs in the chibi!Yuuchirou and Tooru's background! "They can't be humans!" The wonderful older brother who was a complete Akira's boy.
- Speaking of Sakamoto Sr. The school festival and Arisada's cunning plan to prevent people from actually getting the prize. The boys who were trying to get Sakomoto's mark and were blinded by his floating feathers looks. "His looks are too much for me!" *roflmao*
And Mikoto and his boygirlfriend who really has been a boy, not that I knew it before reading

Tooru/Yuuchirou OTP! The kiss, and how Yuuchirou was jealous of the cousin Sayaka. And in the final episode when Tooru asks what Yuuchirou is feeling, the latter blushes so prettily and mumbles about "not wanting him to leave, obviously". And Tooru's little "oh your ass is so mine" smile. ...well, the last bit might have been my imagination. Yeah, right.
But only 12 episodes? WOE.
If you haven't seen the series, for the love of someone, go and watch it. The chance that you'll regret it is so small you can't see it with a magnifying glass.
